Who are we?

Landpower and the CLAAS Harvest Centre network is the largest privately-owned farm machinery distribution network in Australasia. We sell and service machinery to farmers and their contractors from our locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Our Melbourne and Christchurch offices co-ordinate wholesale activities and provide support functions. As a family-owned business, we recognise the importance and value of the long-term relationships that we have grown over the last 49 years with our international partners and local customers.

What’s the job?

You will provide your technical expertise to dealerships and customers across our Australian network, assisting with complex troubleshooting and service advice. Based out of our Melbourne office, there will be periodic travel in Australia as you build relationships with dealerships and yearly travel to Europe to gain the latest insights from the AMAZONE head office and factory.

Other key responsibilities include;

  • Coordinating communication to service teams via intranet and service bulletins regarding technical issues and product improvements.
  • Working closely with the Learning & Development team to assist with the delivery of technical service training sessions, and with Service Managers to monitor learning needs in their workshops.
  • Providing expertise to assist and advise Product Management teams, to ensure comprehensive knowledge and awareness of equipment performance.
  • Assisting teammates and dealerships to manage and adjudicate on warranty claims.

Who are you?

  • You’ve built a career in agriculture, likely starting out as a technician and then perfecting your trade.
  • Passionate about machinery you understand what sets AMAZONE machinery and equipment apart, and how resolve issues that happen in the field.
  • You enjoy helping people, be that through providing technical expertise to solve a problem or through delivering training to help others advance their skills.
  • Whilst you love being technical and solving problems you also value good working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.

What’s in it for you?

We have ambitious growth plans for Australia, and with that comes opportunity for our people to grow and develop. There’s plenty of other benefits, too;

  • Work alongside industry experts with decades of experience.
  • Gain job security and satisfaction working with a business that has a full order book and well-established, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Travel on us to sites across Australia, and, in time, to our manufacturers in Europe.
  • Enjoy our Landpower plus benefits scheme with access to a range of discounts with health providers, retailers and travel providers.
