Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator

What’s the job?
We have a strong commitment to providing an environment where our people are safe and well. To help enable that, we’re growing our People & Culture team to support our leaders and teams with continuous improvement activities and learning, as well as understanding our risk-led approach.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting, co-ordinating and championing our safety & wellbeing policies, practices and systems, helping to ensure consistent implementation.
  • Administering our safety and wellbeing management system (Mango) and supporting our people to report and manage events and incidents.
  • Coordinating safety and wellbeing training across ANZ and monitoring online systems to ensure appropriate training is completed.
  • Supporting the management of regional workers forums with a focus on capturing and sharing relevant information.
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of a document control system to ensure easy access to current policies, procedures, standards and forms.

Landpower and the CLAAS Harvest Centre network is the largest privately-owned agricultural machinery distribution network in Australasia. We sell and service machinery to farmers and their contractors from our locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Our Melbourne and Christchurch offices co-ordinate wholesale activities and provide support functions to our retail network. As a family-owned business we recognise the importance and value of the long-term relationships that we have grown over the last 49 years with our international partners.

Who are you?

  • The organiser of your friendship group, you’re the one that takes action, makes things happen and keeps everyone on task.
  • As an experienced administrator you understand how to work on multiple tasks throughout a day and help others to complete administrative tasks.
  • Whilst you may have spent most of your career at a computer, you enjoy industrial or site roles that see you close to the action and you love an excuse to pop on a hi-vis.
  • You enjoy looking for opportunities to make improvements, particularly those that are focused on people’s safety and wellbeing.
  • You are positive, even when the pressure is on and enjoy helping others to succeed.
  • You can communicate with a range of different people.
